Terms of Service

Last updated: April 22, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using ISPS Smart Advisor (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Africa One ePortal Limited ("we", "our", or "us"), operator of the Service for the Informal Sector Pension Scheme of Uganda ("ISPS").

2. Informational only — no binding commitments

The Service provides information drawn from the ISPS Trust Deed, URBRA regulations, the Retirement Benefits Sector Act 2011, and approved scheme rules. Nothing returned by the Service constitutes:

  • financial, legal, or tax advice;
  • approval of a withdrawal, benefit claim, or transfer by ISPS or its trustees;
  • a warranty that any rule, rate, or entitlement will apply to your specific circumstances.

For binding determinations, please contact ISPS member services, a trustee, or the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Ugandan law;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service, including prompt-injection attempts;
  • impersonate ISPS officials, trustees, or URBRA staff;
  • upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or contains personal data of others without lawful basis;
  • scrape or resell Service output at scale without written permission.

4. Accuracy and reliance

We take reasonable steps to ground answers in approved source material, but the Service may still be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Rates, ages, and procedures change. You are responsible for verifying information before acting on it.

5. Accounts

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

6. Intellectual property

The ISPS Smart Advisor name, design, and software are operated by Africa One ePortal Limited under licence to ISPS. The Trust Deed, URBRA regulations, and other source materials remain the property of their respective authors and the Republic of Uganda.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any investment or withdrawal decision made in reliance on Service output.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ugandan courts.
